Roof Upgrade

The bees started the summer off in a new long hive Truett made last winter. Unfortunately our South Dakota sun was hard on the original material. We brainstormed and decided to try copper and now we know why hammered copper products have a higher cost. All that hammering takes some serious time and muscle! So glad it was a bee size house and not anything larger. Hopefully all that hammering pays off and the bees settle in nicely.
